The Reconstructed Living Labs (RLabs) concept originated in South Africa in 2008 and is now a global movement operating in 22 countries worldwide.
RLabs focuses on the youth and creates an environment for community driven innovation, offering various trainings, community development, social and disruptive innovation, mobile and internet solutions and social enterprise incubation.
RLabs Namibia aims at providing an implementation medium to influence innovation and technology to address the challenges and apprehension in communities in Namibia, creating an environment where people are empowered to make a difference in the lives of others.

These courses are aimed at unemployed youth aged between 18-35 years, who are eager to acquire new skills in Social Media Online Marketing, Project Execution, Entrepreneurship, Events Planning, Photography and Leadership Qualities . With the knowledge they gain at the RLabs workshops, they can become trainers ,social media marketers. The training also encourages the students to start their own business by applying their new set of skills.
