The Innovation Marketplace (I’M) pillar promotes and stimulates innovation, business idea creation and entrepreneurial mind-sets in Namibia. Our goal is to attract and motivate enthusiastic Namibians to develop and implement innovative business ideas.

Insightful Business Idea Creation Workshops focused to develop and improve participants’ business ideas, are presented throughout the year.

Aspiring entrepreneurs are also invited to attend our Idea Assessment Workshop they learn to use the Business Model Canvas and receive feedback on their ideas from the NBII facilitator as well as other participants.

If the participants idea seems to be feasible and he/she want to go into detail… Then I’M will assign a coach who will facilitate his/her idea development until the participant is ready to start his/her business.

Participants can also take part in our annual Business Idea Competition and win great prizes.
